Swiss Kosher App
The Swiss Kosher app makes daily kosher shopping easier. It contains the commonly used kosher lists and can also check products directly using the scan function.
The kosher app is a versatile tool for kosher shopping. It contains the same information as the kosher lists of the Jewish communities, specially adapted for smartphone use and always available. In addition, it offers a practical scan function. By scanning a product’s barcode, users can quickly and directly verify whether it is kosher. Users can also capture barcodes and product photos with their smartphones and thereby help expand the range of kosher products recorded in the app. The Swiss Kosher app is available for Apple and Android.
Operated by the SIG with information from the IGfKL and the CCK
The Swiss Kosher app is operated as part of the SIG’s kosher services. These services are currently organised by two commissions: the Community of Interest for Kosher Foodstuffs IGfKL and the Commission for Community Kashrut CCK. Both commissions work under the administrative umbrella of the SIG and provide information for the kosher lists and the app. The database and the app contain products from both inspection frameworks, which are clearly identified as such.
