Switzerland has numerous Jewish institutions. Besides the Jewish communities’ own facilities and organisations, there are further institutions in the fields of education, nursing, culture and civil society.
Jewish life in Switzerland is characterised by great diversity, and this is reflected not least by the large number of Jewish institutions and organisations. They cover a wide range of needs and interests of the Switzerland’s Jewish population and also form the basis of every functioning Jewish community. They are active in various fields, including community life, religion, education, nursing, culture and civil society. The SIG maintains a region-by-region list of these institutions and organisations.
